Logo Design & Brand Identity - Tiling Coffs Harbour

First we began with the logo design. The ideal client was a home owner who is building an architect designed home or has used an interior designer. These clients seek a premium finish and result from their trades and this ideal fitted in with Coast to Coast Tiling.

The Logo & Branding Project

The logo is modelled on a 2:1 ratio tile which is symbolic of the tiling industry in the past decade. Using the minimum of elements in the design and a restricted colour scheme firmly placed this logo in the luxury segment of the market.

Design and Printing of Business Cards

The business cards were designed with the minimalist colour scheme and tiles arranged in a brick pattern were then angled to carry the brand theme across different items. The business cards were printed on thick 450gsm stock and then coated with a velvet touch matt laminate on both sides. The design was kept understated with sufficient negative space (the space around the elements of the card) to allow the business card details to be uncluttered and clear. Nothing appears on the business cards except the elements which need to be there.

Site Sign Design

As part of the branding guidelines we designed conceptual site signs which would be suitable for printing onto either corflute or even ACM panels (two layers of thin aluminium with a thin piece of foam sandwiched in between). These could be ordered with holes in the corners or in the case of corflute, stainless steel eyelets so they can be easily attached using cable ties or other methods.

Vehicle Wrap Design

We designed an eye catching vehicle wrap (shown in the images mocked up on a white ute). The angled brick pattern tiles portray the branding and the restrained door sign with the logo identifies the business well. The graphics would suit either a gloss or matt laminate applied to the top to protect the signage. We look forward to seeing this car wrap out and about.

Apparel Design - Work Shirts

As a part of the branding guidelines, we also designed some understated polo shirts (shown in the images) with a subtle but on-theme logo on the front pocket area. These were produced on high quality cotton polos and look great on the team.
